The entire staff from valet parking to housekeeping and front desk was so very professional, courteous and fabulous with their job. shortly after checking into our room we recieved a call from housekeeping asking if there was anything extra we needed for our room. We had a light bulb on the night stand break and we just called to let housekeeping know to be careful when they come later because there may be glass pieces around. Less then 3 minutes a maintainence guy came to room to fix the bulb. We have stayed at many hotels over the yrs and this way by far the BEST service hotel we have ever encountered. My only recommendation for travelers would not to rent a car unless totally necessary. The parking is * dollars a day and its only appropriate to tip the valet when you come and go. We were able to walk to just about everything and there is always a cab in front of hotel to take you.

My husband and I stayed for 3 days for our two year aniversary July 2008....we loved the hotel, room, etc...Lots of people complain that you have to cross the street to get to the beach but if you go to fort lauderdale and stay at any hotel there (with the exception of one or two) you have to cross the street...it really is not that big of a deal...a lot of reviews complain that the restaurant at the hotel was over priced but we did not eat at the hotel restaurant because you can just walk down the street and find a lot of other places....that is the beauty of it, there are lots of other places to choose from....we had a wonderful room, great bed, and great service....will go back again very soon...i do agree that the pool area is a little small for the size of the hotel but over all it is a great hotel.

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view. However, we had constant problems with the TV and the service people were not helpful in resolving the problem. They could use a sauna in the fitness center. The beds were not comfortable, too soft. The cafe "Le Marche" was very good. Full menu and friendly staff.

Hotel was in a good location to the beach. I expected better service for the price I paid. The pool was average the drinks expensive and pool staff was aweful. The room was not cleaned well. A five star price tag for a four star hotel.

This hotel is VERY nice. It is in a good location, close to the beach, the water taxi, and next to a few good restaurants (in other hotels). The pool area is also very nice, though not protected well against a windy day. There are comfortable lounge chairs with views of the ocean. There is a good size pool, two hot tubs and cabanas to get couples massages or have a specially ordered breakfast. Check in was smooth and the customer service at the front desk area was fantastic. There is a fast food type lunch place (above average) and a small gift shop with some basic supplies and snacks. 6th floor (where pool deck is) has a restaurant. Some attention to detail and better service from the staff would easily take this hotel to the next level. During our stay, we witnessed a heated argument between staff members in the restaurant. The cleaning staff left trash in our room over three visits to the room. Be aware of $* parking fees (no free lot options) and $* per day internet fee. Room service and restaurant prices are high but they are in line with all hotels and upscale restaurants in the area. We stayed in a jr. suite which was spacious, with a nice balcony and a great view of the ocean. There is a kitchenette with a nice size fridge and microwave. Overall, this is a great property and with careful planning, you are very likely to really enjoy your stay here.
