Our daughter loved it at this resort. We on other hand thought the place was filthy, the room were we has was above the pool that was extremely noisy until about midnight. The cliental of people visiting were less than desirable. You don't want to leave anything unattended!! For the cost of this place you would be better off staying in Disney with a hotel that has one waterslide!!

We just returned home from a two night stay at the Nickelodian Suites Resort. The location is great (only 15 minutes from Downtown Disney) but the hotel (building) was not in good shape. Our room smelled very bad (a combination between dirty diaper and soured carpet) and the shower curtain rod was broken (the shower curtain would not stay closed - water covered the floor during every shower). I called the front desk and informed them of these problems. They were pleasant and apologetic. Someone was sent up to spray the room with deodorizer (this only masked the smell a small bit) and someone was supposed to come us and fix the shower (they never came). The TV remote in the kids rooms did not work and there were no light bulbs in the lamp in our room. Since we have young children, moving our stuff to another room was more work than it was worth. The hotel advertises a price in the mid $* per night (two room kids suite with bunk beds) - DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THAT MUCH. However, we got a great deal on Travelocity ($* for two night - including the $* per day resort fee) - this made it tolerable. Our kids had a great time - they don't notice smelly rooms and broken stuff like we do. The water park was a lot of fun for them. The character breakfast was a huge rip-off. Way over priced for breakfast foods ($* per adult and $*fish for kids). Pretty expensive cereal, waffles and omelets even with Sponge Bob walking around. Final verdict: Overall our stay OK. It accomplished want we needed it to. However, we left with the opinion "Been there - done that" ... we probably won't go back. GA

This hotel was a complete dissapointment. My kids have wanted to go for years so I finally gave in. Upon check in we noticed how much "ELEMENT" was in the lobby. We got there too early for our room so we went to the pool. It was so crowded, there were no chairs and no room in the pool. My kids were looking forward to the mass sliming which consisted of 3 kids being pulled out of the pool and getting slimmed. There is a stage where 2 over zealous staff members scream out commands on a microphone and have hundreds of kids begging to be slimmed then so disappointed when they dont get chosen. The rooms smell like mold and are so old and run down. The bathroom was filthy, the tub was covered in rust and had hair in it. I asked for clean towels at 9pm they brought dirty towels. Most of the tv shows featured arent even on Nickelodeon any more. The idea of this hotel is great but its much too old and much too expensive for what it is. Save your money. If you take any of the reviews to heart let it be this one because I wish someone would have written this to discourage me from booking. Pro's = none. Con's = the hotel guests were very thuggish, there were too many people in the pool, not enough seats pool side, the room was disgusting, the bathroom was gross...just plain BAD...DO NOT GO.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful although the room was not big enough and we had to be upgraded to a suite which was another charge then we had a resort fee that web never mentioned bringing the total to * a night. Pretty steep but it was the peak season and the kids loved it. I would go back in the off season and my issue is more with web than the hotel itself. stayed with 3 adults and 3 children
